Yamaha Appoints Key AV Staff

George Nasr was appointed to Strategic Business Development & Export Manager, Michael Hills to the position of National Sales Manager – AV, Janelle Dilger has been appointed to the position of Marketing Manager -AV & Corporate Communications and Wes Fischer to the position of Sales & Marketing Support Supervisor.

George Nasr previously in the role of National Sales Manager – AV at Yamaha Music, where he was instrumental in three years of sales growth, is now seizing the opportunity to grow commercial sales and develop the mass market channel within Australia and New Zealand for both the AV and MI product divisions. Nasr has been with Yamaha Music also in the role of National Channel Manager and previously National Sales Manager at Kenwood Electronics Australia.

Michael Hills has been promoted to National Sales Manager – AV where his key responsibilities will be to develop and execute national sales strategies and manage the Sales and Sales Support teams. Hills previously held the position of Sales and Marketing Support Manager which saw him successfully launch the new flagship AV Receiver (RXZ11). Hills has previously held roles with Home Theatirx as System Design Supervisor, Sales Consultant with Stereo Supplies and Toombul Music.

 

Janelle Dilger is a new appointment to the position of Marketing Manager – AV and Corporate Communications at Yamaha Music where she will be responsible for development and execution of AV marketing strategies and managing the AV Marketing team. Dilger comes from LG Electronics where she held the position of Category Marketing Manager – Air Conditioning and IT. Previously she spent five years at Panasonic Australia in the Business Systems Division.
 
And Wes Fischer has been promoted to the role of Sales and Marketing Support Supervisor where he will oversee internal sales activities, inventory support and provide marketing assistance. Previously Fischer was in the role of Sales and Marketing Support Coordinator where he assisted with inventory management, service centre issues and played a key role in the sales reporting function. He held a previous role as Store Manager – Brown & White goods at Myer.
