From Billboards To Keyboards, oOh!Media Taps New CIO

Outdoor advertising company oO!Media has tapped Mat Yelavich to lead the company’s digital transformation.

Yelavich, who joins oOh!media as its new chief technology and information officer, spent 10 years at Nine Entertainment in various positions, including group CIO, where he played a major role in the digital transformation of one of Australia’s largest media organisations.

He has also worked at Grass Valley Australia, BSkyB and Al Jazeera International, gaining wide experience in emerging news gathering and production technologies.

OOh! CEO Cathy O’Connor said that data and the increasing digitisation of ad buying are now an important part of the company’s focus.
