Adding to the ‘instant’ tag, Polk has thrown in the clever feature of allowing the unit to be programmed to recognise the volume and mute buttons of your common remote. With many sound companies jumping into the market with competing soundbars, wireless performance has becoming the top perk to add in, and Polk has followed the trend here. The stereo unit wirelessly attaches to an included 6.5 inch subwoofer that can stay connected at up to around 15 metres for placement around a room. As a whole, it’s a slim package to compliment the front fascia of your TV set up. The soundbar measures up to 9.53 cm x 78.74 cm x 7.62 cm, while the subwoofer sits at 25.4 cm x 26.04 cm x 27.3 cm. It comes with an in-built wall mounting solution with included bump-on pads. The unit attaches to an audio source via left and right audio cables or an optical out port with the including optical cable. The SurroundBar 3000 ships in black for $649 through Australian distributor International Dynamics. |
