Amazon Prime Video Added To PlayStation 4

Amazon Prime Video is now available for Sony’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 consoles in Australia.

The streaming video service, which features exclusive shows like The Grand Tour and American Gods, launched in Australia and over 200 other regions late last year.

Customers can sign up for an introductory price of US$2.99 per month for the rest of 2017, before the price increases to the regular US$5.99 next year.

Even at full price, Amazon Prime Video is significantly cheaper than Netflix, Stan and Foxtel Now, however its library of movies and TV shows is also smaller.

Along with the PlayStation consoles, Amazon Prime Video is also available on PC, iOS and Android devices. Select TVs from Samsung, Sony and LG also feature Amazon Prime Video, with specific models supporting HDR and 4K UHD playback.
