At the heart of the Precision range is a new 6 inch (150mm) version of the company’s Dual Concentric driver. This tech has been evolving over fifty years, is coupled with a 1″ titanium dome driver in each of the four speakers and the company’s proprietary Tulip Waveguide.

The mid/low frequency cone is a rigid multi-fibre pulp material with a natural rubber roll surround and articulates natural sound through the mid band. An upgraded double magnet bass motor system enhances the focus of the magnetic field in the voice coil gap, while also producing fluid bass down to low frequencies.
Four of the new speakers use flat front and rear baffles, combined with curved side panels, to limit internal sound reflections.
Floorstanding models use custom made plinths and a mass loading cavity to further tighten bass response, while the option to earth the driver chassis to the amplifier ground reduces interference.
These speakers are encased in real wood veneers and the smooth aluminium drivers are coated in deep gloss lacquer finishes, which contrast with gold plated binding posts. Evidently, the Precision range of speakers are characterised by premium materials and meticulous engineering.
