Senior Executive Quits Mass Retailer Board

	Rick Hart the West Australian retailer has quite the board of Melbourne based retailer Clive Peeters effective immediately despite overwhelming support from shareholders in recent proxy votes. He has also resigned from Rick Hart retail in WA. According to Clive Peeters CEO Greg Smith Hart will be replaced by former executive Ron Pamenter as general manager of the Rick Hart Group . “Rick decided it was in the best interests of the company for him not to seek re-election as a director for another two years, and believes now is a good time for him to move on and explore other business opportunities,” Mr Smith said. “We acknowledge Rick’s outstanding contribution to the Rick Hart business as its founder and driving force over many years, and especially appreciate his efforts as an executive director and CEO of that group since the merger of our businesses in 2005.” Mr Pamenter, who was chief executive of the Rick Hart business from 1998 to 2002, will assume his new role in mid-December.
