The Personal 3D Viewer (HMZT1) displays “2D and 3D content in the luxury of your living room, complete with the visual and audio experiences of being in a movie theatre.”
The headset resembles futuristic goggles and incorporates high definition OLED panels that are separated for the right and left eye. They offer a 45 degree viewing angles, reduce crosstalk and deliver high contrast, colour reproduction and fast response…for smoother and higher quality videos.”
The headset also caters to the other end of the sound plane with 5.1 virtual surround sound, which combined with the high fidelity visuals, facilitates an uninterrupted viewing experience.
The HMZT1 will go on sale this week and is exclusive to Sony Centre concept stores and the Sony website, at a price of $899
