EXCLUSIVE:Major Management Shake-up At Harvey Norman After Dick Smith Raid

Rod Orrock the former General Manager of the Harvey Norman
owned retailer Domayne has quit to take up the head as head of buying at Dick
Smith.

Insiders at Harvey Norman have told ChannelNews that Orrock
is set to be groomed to take over as CEO of Dick Smith with Nick Aboud set to
exit the Company within 12 months.

Nigel Dent the former AV buyer at Harvey Norman has been
promoted to General Manager of Electrical.

Orrock who started at Harvey Norman in 2006 after working as
the franchisee of the Harvey Norman Computer Superstore at Fyshwick in the ACT.

Between 2004 and 2006 he was the Business Manager of Computers
at Harvey Norman.

Dent, who has only been in the AV buying role for two years
was according to his LinkedIn profile a trainee franchisee before being given the AV buying role. 

According to rumours sweeping the industry Dick Smith is
currently hiring senior executives who will replace several currently serving senior
executives who will quit the Company during the next 12 months with large
payouts following the float of the mass retailer in December 2014.
