Hot on the heels of their move into gaming with a Stanger Things game, Netflix are set to roll out a short-clip feature aimed at kids in a bid to compete with TikTok and bring a new generation onto their platform.

Set to offer new content daily, the “Kids clips” feature on the Netflix app will interface in a TikTok-like fashion and offer child-friendly content, in a landscape delivery rather than portrait.

It will build on the “Fast laughs” feature focusing on comedy clips launched earlier this year, though it will oversee the number of clips kids can watch, with a limit of 10-20 in one burst.

It will roll out as a test this week in the US, as well as Australia.
