Dualit is expanding its Australian small appliance range with the Hot Chocolate Maker & Milk Frother, a compact benchtop appliance designed to prepare hot chocolate as well as hot and cold milk-based drinks.

The appliance has joined Dualit’s recently established Australian online store and is priced at $154.99, giving the British brand another product outside its better-known toaster and kettle ranges.

While conventional milk frothers are primarily designed for coffee, Dualit has developed the appliance to also prepare hot chocolate using a consumer’s preferred chocolate rather than requiring a particular brand or capsule system.

A powerful motor and Dualit’s patented technology work together to blend milk and chocolate into a smooth drink in minutes. Users can add their favourite chocolate directly to the machine, providing more flexibility over the flavour, sweetness and type of chocolate used.

Alongside hot chocolate, the appliance can froth milk for café-style drinks at home, including lattes, flat whites, cappuccinos, mochas and chai or matcha lattes. It can also prepare cold frothed milk for milkshakes and other chilled drinks.

Its compact footprint makes it suitable for keeping on the kitchen benchtop alongside a coffee machine, kettle or other beverage appliances.

The launch gives Dualit another product aimed at the growing market for café-style drinks prepared at home, while broadening the company’s Australian offering beyond its traditional breakfast appliances.
