The most notable feature of this range is ‘3D Ready’ integration across all three models, including the entry level RXV367, straight out of the box. The RX-V467 and RX-V567 also feature ARC (Audio Return Channel) which allows a compatible TV to send audio ‘backwards’ along a HDMI cable, eliminating the need for an optical or coaxial cable.
The RX-V367 (100W x 5) features a HDMI repeater (4in/1out) as well as HD audio via PCM (already decoded by the Blu-Ray player). The unit also features upgraded YPAO auto room set up and Cinema DSP modes.
The RX-V467 (105W x 5) incorporates additional HDMI ver1.4 specifications with 3D support and ARC. It also has built-in decoders for the HD audio formats from Dolby and DTS, iPod and iPhone support through Yamaha’s proprietary dock connection, binding post speaker terminals and high-definition Cinema DSP modes.
Finally, the 7.1 channel RX-V567 (90W x 7) is the first 7.1 channel receiver in the range, supporting HDMI ver1.4 with 3D support and ARC. The RX-V567 also features 1080p video upscaling & OSD as well as iPod dock connection and binding post speaker terminals. Each of the seven channels outputs 90 watts of power.
RRP for the receivers are as follows: RX-V367 $499; RX-V467 $699; and RX-V567 $899
