Galaxy S8 A Flip For Samsung
Just six weeks after going on sale, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have racked up more than one million handset sales in Samsung’s domestic market, South Korea.
The figures are seen as a sign that it has weathered the issue of its exploding batteries. In comparison, the Galaxy S7 took 10 weeks to reach the million mark.
The result comes following a marketing push for the new handsets, including the gamble to go with an all-curved design, and deal with the legacy of the fiery Galaxy Note 7.
