AVerMedia will distribute some of its gaming products first, following by its HD Capture SDK series for enterprise devices used in medical imaging, banking authentication and digital signage.

The new relationship will help Anyware tap into gaming and enterprise markets.

“This partnership will strengthen Anyware’s portfolio of products for gaming and enterprise,” said Anyware’s Managing Director, Garrison Huang . “Both are growth markets which we have identified and targeted for the year ahead. We’re very excited about the potential.”

The relationship will commence from this December with the Game Capture HD, which is a standalone 1080i capture box for Microsoft’s, Sony’s and Nintendo’s consoles. It is capable of handling entire HD gameplay recording directly to a 2.5″ SATA HDD (not included), USB flash drive or USB mass storage device, deeming a PC redundant. It will be available from Anyware’s distribution network of independent and national resellers.

The next device is the Game Broadcaster HD, a PCI Express device capable of recording Full HD videos from a PC, PS3, Xbox and iPad 2.

Nowadays most homes feature a gaming device, and the increase in massively multiplayer online games has motivated performing players to share their gaming experiences via video sharing platforms such as YouTube. Acitivision’s successful Modern Warfare franchise is but one example that fuels players to show off their gaming prowess.
