The M3 MacBook Pro Could Launch Sooner Than Expected

It has been reported that Apple’s next batch of M3 MacBooks could be launched later this year, however there are new claims stating they could arrive much sooner than expected, after being tipped for 2024.

The idea comes from a report citing “industry sources” claiming Apple will be introducing a new MacBook Pro, with a 3 nanometer Apple silicon chip boasting improved performance and efficiency, and that it could appear as soon as the third quarter of this year.

It is possibly referring to the 13 inch MacBook Pro which hasn’t been updated since last year, however the 16 inch and 14 inch MacBook Pro laptops received an upgrade in January, making them unlikely candidates for another update this year.

There is also speculation the M3 upgrades could come to the 24 inch iMac and 13 inch MacBook Air later this year.

One issue with the timeline though, is that Apple events are expected later this year, and along with the company’s tradition of launching new Macs AFTER iPhones, could mean a third quarter launch is unlikely.
