Sony To Benefit From Note 7 Woes

Sony Australia – along with Apple and several others – could be in line for a fillip in its mobile phone sales thanks to Samsung’s decision to end production and distribution of its Galaxy Note 7 phones.

Sony’s latest mobile the Xperia XZ will go on sale on October 20. It has had good reviews in the USA and several other countries where it has already been released.

Its fast-focusing 23-megapixel camera has won special praise along with Intelligent battery charging good looks and waterproofing to one metre.

In Australia Xperia XZ will be available from Sony or JB Hi-Fi for a recommended $999 and on 24-month plans from Telstra.
