Revealed: The 20 Most-Leaked Passwords On The Dark Web

With an increase in reports of hacking since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with victims including Toyota as well as political figures, regular punters and even the Kremlin, it’s more important than ever to keep an eye on your passwords.

As such, a list of the 20 most-leaked passwords on the dark web has surfaced, and it’s a little scary how obvious many are.

Cybersecurity is extremely important right now, with Telstra CEO Andy Penn warning of a cyber crime rise due to the current climate.

In the US, an estimated 80 per cent of online consumers have had emails leaked onto the dark web, and 70 per cent have had their phone numbers circulated.

With this problem on the rise, always ensure your password is strong and unique – and of course, never share it. Then, if it is ever leaked as part of a data breach, change it immediately.
