Leading Edge Acquires 5 Regional Stores

Leading Edge Group CEO, Keith Lane said, “This acquisition compliments our business model. We are well placed to operate and support these stores with the infrastructure and systems that back up our retail, franchise, buying group and direct sales operations”.

The stores, which are to be re-branded and operate as Leading Edge Telecoms stores, cover metropolitan Adelaide from West Lakes and Munno Para, regional South Australia from Port Pirie and Port Adelaide and Broken Hill in far western New South Wales.

General Manager of Leading Edge Telecoms, Allan Evans said “We are excited to bring our retail concept to customers in South Australia and Broken Hill. We are working closely with the staff to transition across to us and to implement our value proposition to customers. We can’t wait to deliver integrated solutions for customers and provide the service and support that saw us recognised as Telstra’s National Dealer of the Year”.

The Leading Edge Group says it plans to transition the existing staff in the five stores and over the next few months undertake an intensive development program. “People are the very life blood of our business”, said Lane. “We will work closely with the new team to support and develop them so they can be successful” he said.
