Promethean Appoints New GM

Based in Brisbane, Klotz brings more than 25 years experience to the role having worked in the IT, Communications and Publishing Industries throughout Australia and New Zealand and in a number of international markets. He has enjoyed significant success in a variety of sales and marketing roles with companies including Wang, NCR, Telstra, AAPT and Thomson.

In his new role, Klotz will be tasked with establishing the regional headquarters for Promethean, enhancing and growing the company’s distribution channel to support the Promethean Activclassroom solution. Created by educators for educators, the Promethean Activclassroom is an all-in-one solution that integrates thousands of standards-based resources, formative assessment, training and dynamic instructional tools in a complete classroom delivery system.

Klotz and his team will look to build on the four core components of Promethean’s solution platform, including the design and provision of interactive classroom hardware, software, resources and training for schools throughout Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

In conjunction with this appointment, Promethean is also pleased to welcome Kate Christopher as Training & Learning Consultant for the A/NZ and Pacific Islands region. Kate is responsible for the provision of training to the company’s distribution channel partners, which include DH Technology and ASI Solutions.  Kate will also act as a knowledge base for schools seeking training and insight into the functionality and benefits of Interactive Learning.
