Foxtel Appoints Wendy Moore As Lifestyle GM

Pay-TV provider, Foxtel, has continued to shuffle its senior management team by appointing Pacific Magazines executive, Wendy Moore, as its new Lifestyle group General Manager.

Back in October, former Commbank and Xero marketing boss, Kieren Cooney, took the helm as Foxtel’s Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.

Ms Moore boasts over 12 years experience at Pacific Magazines – developing brands such as Home Beautiful and Better Homes and Gardens – most recently as General Manager of Homes & Food.

Effective from April 29, Moore will oversee all aspects of Foxtel’s Lifestyle brands including; Lifestyle, Lifestyle HOME and Lifestyle FOOD.

She will be tasked with guiding the brands’ current and future commercialisation across streaming, broadcast and digital.

In addition to managing Foxtel’s Original Lifestyle programs (e.g. Selling Houses Australia, Grand Designs AustraliaLove it Or List itGreat Australian Bake Off and Gogglebox Australia) Moore will also procure new and continuing international acquisitions to stream on Foxtel.

“I know that she will bring to the table an incredible wealth of lifestyle insight and knowledge, making her the ideal person to breathe new life into our Lifestyle group while maintaining the unique qualities that makes Lifestyle so loved by our viewers,” affirms Foxtel Executive Director of Television Brian Walsh.

Ms Moore will report to Director of Foxtel Networks and On Demand, Stephen Baldwin, asserting it’s a pleasure to join the company amid “such an innovative period.”
