Foxtel Shuffles Leadership With New Marketing Chief

Foxtel CEO, Patrick Delaney, has further shuffled the pay TV provider’s leadership team, with the appointment of new Chief Sales & Marketing Officer Kieren Cooney.

Mr Cooney will take the helm from Andy Lark, who joined Foxtel as Chief Marketing Officer in January this year. Lark was also the former CMO for CommBank and Xero.

Foxtel claims Mr Lark’s departure follows the successful launch of its 4K ‘Channel 444’, and Fox Cricket unveiling last week.

The re-structure comes just nine months after Delaney took the reigns at Foxtel, following its merger with Fox Sports.

The leadership shuffle will see Foxtel’s sales and marketing functions combined once again, coupled with the creation of a new product and strategy group.

As per CMOSky Deutchland’s Executive VP of Products and Marketing has also been poached to lead the new product and strategy group.

Cooney will join Foxtel from the REA Group, after tenure as Chief Marketing and Content Officer. He was formerly the CEO of Interbrand Australia.

Foxtel asserts the leadership shuffle will assist the company to achieve its strategic goals, notably as it heads towards the looming IPO.
