The Pulse smartpen captures handwriting and simultaneously records audio and synchronizes it to the writing. The 2GB Pulse Smartpen is available at $299, providing storage for over 200 hours of recorded audio, as well as flexibility for downloading future applications.

According to the company, the partnership will see Ingram Micro address the consumer electronics retail and reseller channel.

Livescribe’s Director of International Sales, Remo Behdasht said, “Livescribe’s partnership with Ingram Micro will greatly expand the availability of Pulse smartpens and accessories to consumers throughout Australia. This new partnership further illustrates the growing relationships between Livescribe and the channel, as well as our commitment to the Australian market.”

Livescribe products and accessories are currently available throughout all Officeworks stores in Australia with other major retailers joining soon.
