CHiQ has expanded its laundry range with the WTL120FDW, a new 12kg top load washing machine aimed at larger households and users wanting a simpler automatic wash setup.

The washer has a 12kg capacity and a maximum spin speed of 600rpm, making it suitable for larger loads including bedding, towels and everyday family washing.

One of the key features is One Touch Smart Wash, which allows users to start an automatic washing cycle with a single button press. The machine then manages the washing process without requiring multiple manual settings.

CHiQ has also included its Waterfall Flow system, which uses 3D water movement inside the drum. The company says the design is intended to improve washing performance while reducing twisting and tangling of clothes during a cycle.

A Drum Clean function is included to help maintain the internal tub by removing residue and helping keep the washing machine hygienic over time.

The washer also features a glass lid with a soft-close damper. The design is intended to reduce the risk of the lid slamming shut while still providing a clear view inside the machine.

Other functions include delay start, a child lock, detergent dispenser and fuzzy logic technology, which can automatically adjust washing behaviour according to the load.

A failure detection system is also built in to help identify operational problems, while the drain pump includes a filter to assist with maintenance.

The CHiQ WTL120FDW adds another large-capacity option to the brand’s top load washing machine range, targeting households that prioritise straightforward controls, automatic washing functions and room for larger loads.
