Icahn Exits Netflix, $2.1bn Up

The activist tweeted he had shed the last of his position in Netflix, whose shares have risen 12 times since he bought in towards the end of 2012.

Icahn said he paid about $58 a share for the stock, which this week hit a high of $706.24, after it announced a coming 7-for-1 stock split.

Judging by the previous sales of his positions and what it was worth at Wednesday’s new high, Icahn made a stellar return on an initial investment of just $321 million.
