New Full Colour Harmony Low Cost  Remote From Logitech

The Harmony 600 and Harmony 650 remotes are each designed to replace up to five other remotes, and both feature one-click activity buttons with the Harmony 650 also incorporating a colour screen that displays channel icons.

The 600 model (pricing not yet avaiable) has a monochrome backlit screen that displays power and volume commands, while the 650 has a colour screen that displays channel icons as well as commands.

To set up the remotes, users go to www.logitech.com/myharmony to download software, eliminating the need to program codes, the company said. More than 250,000 devices from more than 5,000 brands are reportedly supported.

“From Betamax to Blu-ray, you can be sure the Logitech Harmony remote can control virtually any IR home-electronic device,” the company said. 

Both are remotes are scheduled to be available this month.
