Telstra Est Ouvert En Paris

Telstra has opened an office in Paris to serve as its hub for continental Europe, and is installing points of presence (PoPs) for its programmable network in Frankfurt and Paris.

The network is billed as “a leading digital platform for enterprise network services, built on software-defined networking … [that] provides near-real time on-demand connectivity to clouds, datacentres and a partner ecosystem through one portal, transforming the traditional networking experience.”

The move follows Telstra’s recent acquisition of UK-based technology services business Company85, which provides datacentre, workspace, cloud, security and network services.

Tom Homer, MD of Telstra’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operation, said opening of the Paris office is part of the company’s strategy to grow its position across Europe and help businesses expand, particularly into the Asia-Pacific region
