Telstra has entered the low-cost mobile market and debuted data-heavy plans through its budget ISP brand ‘Belong’. Belong’s mobile services launched on October 1st.
Receiving its wholesale 4G network from Telstra, Belong will debut two SIM-only plans, detailed below.

Consumers of Belong mobile will benefit from data rollover and have the ability to gift data to other Belong customers.
Belong MD, Antony de Jong, states of the new offering:
“We’ve been very deliberate in our approach of offering calling and text services as add-ons, turning conventional SIM-only plans on their head by providing mobile plans that just include data”
“In the spirit of making it really easy to use the Belong mobile service, customers will be able to download our new Belong app to self-manage their accounts, gift data to another Belong mobile customer, and purchase or cancel any extra features as needed”
Customers can purchase Belong mobile SIM cards from JB Hi-Fi and Coles, plus directly from the Belong mobile website.
