TCL Has Not Cut A Deal With Amazon, Yet.

Chinese TV Company TCL, has not cut a deal with Amazon yet, they claim.

Though, the local subsidiary does admit that they are in talks with the giant online retailer with a view to being a major TV and appliance supplier in the future.

Rafael Mayen Marketing Supervisor at TCL Australia said in a statement issued to ChannelNews ” TCL hasn’t struck a deal with Amazon to sell our units online in Australia. As with all other leading TV manufacturers, we’ve had one introduction meeting to find out more about the company and its intended roll out plan and that’s it”.

In the USA and other global markets TCL, who has their own TV production plant, that manufactures TV for several other big AV brands is a major supplier of TV’s for Amazon.com.

ChannelNews understands that Amazon is currently talking to several manufacturers including TCL and Foxconn with a view to delivering a new Amazon house brand range of TV’s that will be launched in Australia.
