Samsung Delivers The A-Series

Samsung has unveiled the latest generation of its popular mid-range A-series devices, with five different models available in Australia over the next few weeks.

The A73, A53, A33, A23 and A13 will all boast Android 12 skinned with Samsung’s OneUI 4.1, with support up to at least Android 16.

GALAXY A73 5G

The flagship models packs a punch, with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ Infinity O display, with a 120Hz refresh rate.

There’s a punch hole 32MP selfie camera, as well as the 108MP main camera, a 12MP Ultra-Wide, 5MP Macro and 5MP depth sensor. The A73 is powered by an octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

The phone boasts a 5,000mAh battery with 25W super fast charging, and is IP67 water and dust resistance.

 

GALAXY A53 5G

The A53 is Samsung’s focus for the A-Series, and with good reason: it sports a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with 120Hz refresh rate, an octa-core processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB of on-board storage, and is “pound for pound one of the best mid-tier devices on the market”, according to Garry McGregor, VP of IT and Mobile at Samsung Australia.

It sports a 32MP selfie camera, with a 64MP main sensor, 12 MP Ultra-Wide, 5 MP Macro and 5 MP depth sensing camera.

 

GALAXY A33 5G

The A33 gives brilliant bang for buck, with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, as well as the same octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

The 5,000mAh with 25W Super Fast Charging, as well as a 13MP front-facing camera, 48MP main sensor, 8MP Ultra-Wide, 2MP Macro and 5MP depth sensing camera.

GALAXY A23/A13 4G

Incredible value for $399 and $329 respectively, the Galaxy A13 4G and Galaxy A23 4G both include a 6.6-inch TFT V-Cut Display, with an octa-core processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB of on-board storage. They are both 4G phones, hence the lower price.

They pack a 8MP selfie camera, 50MP main camera sensor, 5MP Ultra Wide, 2MP Macro and 2MP Depth sensing camera.

As with the higher-end models, both these phones include a 5,000mAh with support for 25W charging.

PRICING AND AVAILIBILITY 

The A13 ($329), A23 ($399), and A53 ($699) will all be available from April 1.

The A33 ($599) and A73 ($799) will be available from April 22.
