Samsung Brings Out Gold And Red Editions For S9 and S9+

Samsung is adding a touch of colour to its flagship Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones with new burgundy red and sunrise gold editions taking the colour option for the phones up to six.

The S9 and S9+ are currently available in black, grey, purple and blue.

The Sunrise Gold edition for Galaxy S9 and S9+ is Samsung’s first device to feature a satin gloss finish.

This is not an unusual step for the brand as they’re known to introduce a new colour a couple of months into their phone launches. Late last year, Samsung unveiled a pink edition of its Galaxy Note 8

Some could say Samsung is trying to go head to head with Apple over its Product(RED) edition with its burgundy red hue but the red is much darker than the Apple offering.

The gold will be available in Australia from June with the burgundy red only being sold in China and Korea.

No word if these devices will be more expensive than the original S9 and S9+ devices.
