Optus & Seven Partner For Data-Free Sports Streaming

Optus has partnered with Seven Network to offer eligible post-paid mobile customers exclusive data-free streaming of various live sporting events.

Live sporting coverage will include the 2018 Australian Open Tennis, Olympic Winter Games and Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

Seven’s exclusive coverage of these events will be available to stream via three new apps –  7Tennis, Olympics on 7 and 7Comm Games – which can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple’s App store from December 18th.

Data-free streaming through the apps will be available to new and re-contracting Optus customers on the following plans; 4 month My Plan Plus, My Plan Flex, 12 month My Plan Plus SIM Only plans or 24 month My Mobile Broadband Plus $35 or above plan with Mobile TV Streaming.

Existing post-paid Optus customers can confirm their eligibility through the My Optus app.

Optus’ Managing Director of Marketing and Product, Ben White, affirms that its partnership with Seven will further enhance its entertainment offerings:
