Netgear’s Arlo Pro Lands In Retail This Week

Netgear have confirmed that their new and improved Arlo Pro will be available in Australian retail from as soon as this week.

The company’s wireless security camera kit promises to offer key improvements on last year’s range by bringing rechargable batteries to the table.

“Arlo Pro is the result of our singular focus to deliver the most innovative, intelligent and easy-to-use smart security products that uniquely address home and small business security needs,” said Pat Collins, senior vice president of Arlo products at NETGEAR.

Collins says that “100% wire-free cameras provide customers with an incredibly easy and powerful way to monitor their entire property.”

“Now with the addition of rechargeable batteries, two-way audio, an enhanced HD video experience, advanced night vision, improved motion detection, as well as our new smart siren, Arlo Pro delivers the best stress-free toolset for protecting your loved ones and valuables,” he said.

ChannelNews spent a little bit of hands-on time with the Arlo Pro back in March and came away pretty impressed.

The Arlo Pro will roll out to major retailers from April 13th with starting RRP of $499 AUD for a starter kit (with one camera). Beyond that, additional cameras will cost $350 AUD.
