Apple’s Mac OS X is within a whisker of taking 10 percent of the personal computing market, and sending Microsoft’s share to below 90 percent for the first time in eons.
Netmarketshare figures for April 2016 show the 9.57 percent figure for Mac OS across all builds, bringing it close to double figures. That’s despite a slight dip for OS X 10.11 to 3.94 percent (down 0.11pc).
