Dicker Data will be the distributor for Micron here in Australia, distributing a large array of high performance gaming computer parts.
The announcement is timed well for Dicker Data, who themselves announced that they’re moving into eSports to stake a claim in the rapidly growing gaming market locally.
Crucial SSSs, DRAM memory and Ballistix high performance gaming memory will all now be distributed by Dicker Data to their base of 5,500 re-seller partners for Australian consumers.
Mathew Luu, Micron Technology’s Senior Marketing Manager in APJ for Crucial and Ballistix Products, said, “Micron has developed a strong following for our Crucial and Ballistix brands since they were introduced to the Australian market seven years ago.
“By working closely with Dicker Data, we’ll be able to strengthen our distribution model and elevate our growth across corporate, government, channel, and gaming businesses.”
