LG Teases The V30’s Camera

The official invitation to the launch of LG’s V30 smartphone scheduled for later this month suggests the flagship’s new camera will be one of its biggest features.

Featuring the phrase “Lights. Camera. Action.” along with a series of rings resembling a camera lens, the invitation invites media to attend the V30 launch at the Maritim Hotel Berlin on August 31 ahead of the IFA trade show in Berlin on September 1-6.

The V30 is expected to feature a 6-inch display with a ‘FullVision’ bezel-less design, measuring slightly larger than the V20 but with a smaller body.

It will also be LG’s first OLED smartphone in two years.

Images of the V30 may also have leaked via a marketing campaign competition organised by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his company HitRecord.

Video screenshots of the smartphone posted by Droid Life show a dual camera and fingerprint reader on the back.

Earlier reports suggested the V30 will first become available in South Korea on September 15, before launching globally on September 28.
