KEF has offered another glimpse of its upcoming luxury speaker, revealing a curved, sculptural cabinet and the return of the British audio brand’s signature Uni-Q driver.

The still-unnamed model will be unveiled at KEF’s London headquarters on July 30, with pricing, specifications and Australian availability yet to be announced.

A video posted on KEF’s social media shows the Uni-Q driver surrounded by a rounded cabinet largely concealed in shadow, suggesting the speaker will sit at the premium end of KEF’s range.

The design was created in collaboration with Welsh industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, who previously worked with KEF on its flagship Muon loudspeakers, Muo portable speaker and Mu headphones and earbuds.

KEF said the new product would offer a “new definition of luxury”, combining acoustic performance with a distinctive visual identity inspired by its previous Lovegrove-designed products.

The company is promising improved sound clarity, sharper detail and an expanded soundstage designed to more fully immerse listeners in music.

KEF has not confirmed whether the product will be a passive loudspeaker, part of its LS wireless range or a successor to an existing model such as the LS50 Meta.

The reveal follows several recent KEF launches, including the retro-inspired Coda W wireless speakers, the second-generation Muo portable speaker and its premium XIO Dolby Atmos soundbar.
