Lenovo Workstation With Qi Charger Revealed Ahead Of IFA

Lenovo has revealed its latest consumer-grade workstation, the IdeaCentre A540, ahead of this year’s IFA trade show in Berlin.

Globally, the new IdeaCentre A540 is set to launch in September, though no official details on local pricing and availability have yet to be confirmed.

Modelled after the asymmetry of a Cypress tree, the all-in-one Windows PC has a Qi wireless charger integrated into the base of the unit and comes in two sizes (24-inches and 27-inches) with a brass metallic stand.

Under the hood is either an Intel 9th Gen Core CPU or AMD’s Ryzen CPUs, supports up to 16GBs of RAM, 1TB of M.2 SSD storage, and 2TB of traditional hard drive storage.

The 24-inch model comes with AMD’s Radeon RX 540X Graphics, and with the Ryzen-powered model, can have up to a Ryzen 5 3400 GE processor.

The 27-inch model on the other hand comes with Radeon RX 540X Graphics.
