McLean Quits As CEO Of Belkin

Mclean the former CEO of Netgear and a senior executive at Seagate is set to be replaced by Stephanie Ogden who is currently Managing Director for ANZ and South East Asia for Kobo.

During his time at Belkin McLean has grown the business with the once struggling accessory player a major supplier to Australian consumer Electronics retailers. 

“We are very grateful to Ian for his many contributions to Belkin. His positive impact on the company will benefit us for many years to come. I have enjoyed working with Ian over the past few years and I thank him for his dedication and service to Belkin,” said Chet Pipkin, Founder and CEO of Belkin International.

“In Stephanie we have a leader who knows our business intimately, has strong existing relationships with our key customers, and a drive that will undoubtedly be instrumental to our ongoing growth in Australia and New Zealand. I’m delighted she is returning to Belkin.”

The change comes as Belkin International focuses on the growth of three major brands – Belkin, Linksys and now WeMo. Belkin continues to lead with a digital ecosystem of accessories and peripherals, while Linksys, a Networking leader, is introducing more than 40 new products locally over the next six months in the pro-sumer and SMB networking space.
