US audio brand JLab is making a colourful comeback to the Bluetooth speaker market with a new range of portable party speakers, featuring built-in RGB light shows and budget-friendly prices starting at just A$30.

Launching to mark JLab’s 20th anniversary, the JLab Party Series includes four models: the compact Pop Party, mid-range Go Party and JBuds Party, and the high-powered Epic Party.

Each speaker features customisable LED lighting, splash resistance, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and multi-speaker syncing via JLab’s ‘LabSync’ technology. They allow up to 100 units to play in sync for full-room sound and lighting effects.

The entry-level Pop Party Speaker (A$30) is small enough to clip onto a backpack yet still delivers punchy 5W audio from a 2-inch full-range driver and passive woofer. With an IPX5 rating and up to 8 hours of battery life, it’s ideal for outdoor listening.

Stepping up, the Go Party Speaker (A$45) offers 10W output, improved water resistance (IPX6), and dual drivers and woofers for fuller sound. Its battery lasts up to 16 hours, or 8 with the lights on.

The JBuds Party Speaker (A$105) ups the ante with 30W output, 2.5-inch drivers, bass radiators, and a tactile control knob.

At the top end, the Epic Party Speaker (A$225) delivers 100W through four drivers, a subwoofer, and a passive woofer for true 360-degree audio. It also features microphone input, USB-C phone charging, and up to 16 hours of battery life.
