iPhone X Shipping Times Improve Due To Lack Of Demand

The iPhone X shipping times have been drastically reduced from a six week wait to a two week wait as Apple Insider Ming-Chi Kuo says the vast improvement in shipping times is due to a lack of demand.

The tenth-year anniversary edition came out earlier this month with Apple informing customers there could be a six week wait before the product arrives at their door.

Kuo says the shipping time improvements is the result of optimisations made in the Apple supply chain.

Rumours were circulating that Apple was struggling to meet demand due to the difficult production of a number of new features including the OLED screen and Face ID authentication system.

This improvement of shipping times means customers should be able to get their hands on the device before Christmas.

The iPhone X was released earlier this month with prices for the iPhone X starting at $1579 to $1829.
