IoT Group Sacks Simon Kantor

ASX–listed Internet of Things company IoT Group has fired its executive director and company founder, Simon Kantor, in a dispute in which Kantor is accused of selling his former business, ROAM Systems, to IoT Group without approval.

Despite allegations regarding Kantor’s breach of his director’s duties, a statement IoT Group issued to the ASX said he had previously refused to resign when requested.

“Given the dispute, the board of directors, excluding Mr Kantor, is of the firm view that his position has become untenable,” the company told the ASX.
