Huawei Set To Release Two New Notebooks Despite Little Interest

Amazon Australia is still trying to flog the Huawei Matebook Pro which was launched with much fanfare in Australia despite most retailers rejecting the Chinese company’s notebook offering.

Now the company who is banned from supplying carriers with 5G technology in Australia due to serious security concerns is set to have another crack with two new models set to be released according to sources in Shenzhen China.

According to a competitor, one model is simply a refresh of the old 14″ model with an HDMI port thrown in.

In an effort to compete with Acer and Lenovo, the Company is set to offer a 15″ model which is aimed at people who want to listen or watch content.

Built-in is audio out, full-size HDMI output, 3x USB-A ports and a USB-C which is a lot of capability compared to a lot of the notebooks being sold today.

According to one source, both variants feature the power button that integrates a fingerprint reader and come with thin bezel 16:9 displays.

The processors are believed to be Comet Lake-U processors from.

The Company is set to show the new offering at CES 2020.
