Anticipation is building further ahead of Google’s Pixel 11 launch, with the company now releasing an official teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold just days after showing off the standard Pixel 11 Pro.

The latest 15-second video provides a brief look at the foldable opening to reveal its internal display, along with a glimpse of its rear camera module, ahead of the phone’s launch next week.

It follows Google’s similar teaser last week for the Pixel 11 Pro, which highlighted a mysterious colour-changing light embedded within the phone’s camera bar.

That illuminated feature is also expected to appear on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. It was initially referred to in leaks as Pixel Glow, although recently leaked marketing material suggests Google may officially call it ‘HiLight’.

Its functionality remains unclear, but the RGB lighting system could be used for notifications, Gemini activity or other visual alerts without requiring users to wake the display.

Beyond the new lighting element, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold appears to retain a similar design to last year’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold, including its prominent rectangular camera module and overall form factor.

Leaks suggest the device will feature an 8-inch folding OLED display and a 6.4-inch external screen, both offering refresh rates of up to 120Hz.

It is also expected to run Google’s next-generation Tensor G6 processor and offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The foldable is tipped to carry a battery of approximately 4,800mAh, with 30W wired charging and Qi2 wireless charging support.

Its rear camera system could include a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10.8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.

Google is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold at its Made by Google event on August 12.
