Samsung To Get Into Palm Reading Business

Samsung has recently patented a palm vein sensor with WIPO to add to the range of biometric devices the company already has.

According to Lets Go Digitalthe palm vein sensor can be used as an authentication method in case a user has forgotten its password.

To use the palm reader, take a picture of the palm and a sensor scans the hand reading vein patterns. These will be compared to the ones on the phone and if they match the phone will be unlocked.
