Future Apple Watch To Monitor Glucose, Body Temp
The next generation of Apple Watch models will feature a range of health features, faster processors, and improved wireless connectivity.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is expected sometime this year, and will include an improved screen, and a faster processor. But it’s the 2022 range that will see a more impressive leap in functionality.
Aside from a successor for the Apple Watch SE, the company is working on a sports model that will feature a body temperature sensor and a blood-sugar monitor that can analyse blood through the skin.
The 2022 watches are also expected to feature software that allows it to unlock doors and hotel rooms. This feature was showcased at this month’s developer conference, and will be available with the watchOS 8 update.
