EXCLUSIVE:Samsung Appoints New Marketing Director

Samsung has appointed a new Marketing Director following the sudden exit of Natasha Daly after only 11 months.

Eric Chou who joined Samsung in October 2012 has been appointed as the new Marketing Director, his previous role was Director of Product and Services in Samsung’s mobile division.

No reason has been given for the sudden exit of Daly whose last role was with ride share Company Ola a Company she parted Company with after just 5 months.

Prior to the Ola role Daly worked at Caltex in a retail marketing role.

Chou bring a wealth of experience to the role having been a key product manager in the fast-growing Samsung Mobile division.

One of Daly’s last roles was to launch the new Samsung S20.

ChannelNews has been told that initially a major external recruitment Company were briefed to identify potential candidates for the role but after reviewing several candidates chose to appoint Chou into the role because of his experience and knowledge of Samsung and their product roadmaps.
