Fujitsu Gives Life To New Tablet-Infused Lifebooks
On top of the 16 notebooks announced last month, Fujitsu has now released the Lifebook T731 and TH701.

The two units are mobile business notebooks with high specs and high security in tow, but the standout feature is the bi-directional, 12.1 inch TFT display that adds tablet-style dual-touch, multi-finger gesture control.

This familiar feature to Fujitsu’s higher-end laptops comes on both models, along with a 3G port for on-the-go connectivity, USB 3.0 port, security peripherals like fingerprint sensors and hot-swappable batteries.

The touch screen supports 5 finger gestures as well as operating via stylus through Microsoft’s touch software for Windows 7.

Built tough, the notebooks are housed in shock sensors and a spill-resistant keyboard, with a glossy exterior built for the added cosmetic touch.

The two models hold Intel 6 Series Chipsets on the inside, with Intel software added in for security and added bits of practicality, like with Wireless Display for wirelessly connecting the tablet screen to a HD TV.

The T731 starts at a premium $2388, while the TH701 starts $400 cheaper at $1988, distributed by Bluechip Infotech and Multimedia Technology.
