The world’s biggest drone manufacturer, DJI, is among eight Chinese companies that will tomorrow be added to the Biden administration’s Chinese military-industrial complex companies blacklist.

This brings the total number of companies on the list to 68.

Also added to list will be SenseTime, CloudWalk Technology, and Megvii, three leading facial recognition software companies; cloud computing companies Dawning Information Industry and Leon Technology; cyber security group Xiamen Meiya Pico, who are employed by Chinese law enforcement; AI company Yitu Technology, and surveillance system producers NetPosa Technologies.

DJI said it had “done nothing to justify being placed on the list.”
