French high-end audio brand Devialet is expanding beyond the premium consumer audio market, targeting the Custom Installation (CI) market with new products designed for luxury homes, home theatres and commercial projects.

The move represents a strategic shift for the company, which built its reputation around its distinctive Phantom wireless speakers and high-performance audio engineering. Devialet is now adapting its technology for professionals who require more robust network connectivity and installation flexibility.

The company’s new Phantom Ultimate CI range is designed specifically for the integration market, with models aimed at both large-scale luxury installations and more compact projects. Devialet is positioning the range as a premium solution for luxury residential properties, private cinemas, multi-room audio installations and high-end commercial environments.

Unlike Devialet’s consumer Phantom speakers, the CI models move away from traditional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, adding native Dante and Audio-over-IP support for professional networked installations.

Devialet says the CI range keeps its core acoustic technologies, including its Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) amplification platform and bass and driver protection technologies, while adding the reliability required by installers.

The range includes two models, the Phantom Ultimate CI 108 dB, which is a flagship model designed for maximum output and large-scale installations; and the Phantom Ultimate CI 98 dB, a more compact model aimed at smaller luxury projects.

While Devialet’s Phantom Ultimate consumer range is available in Australia, pricing and availability of the new Phantom Ultimate CI installation models are not yet confirmed.
