Panasonic Marks 25 Years Of LUMIX With Major Sydney Photography Event
Panasonic is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its LUMIX camera brand with a special event in Sydney, bringing together photographers, filmmakers and content creators for an afternoon of workshops, hands-on demonstrations and creative discussions.
Dubbed LUMIX Collective, the event will be held at ACO On The Pier on Friday, November 20, from 3pm to 9pm, with tickets priced at $45 per person.
The event will give photography enthusiasts and professionals an opportunity to get hands-on with Panasonic’s LUMIX cameras and lenses, explore new creative techniques and connect with other members of the photography and filmmaking community.
The program will feature workshops, presentations and discussions, followed by an evening celebration with food and beverages included in the ticket price.
Panasonic says the event is about more than showcasing its latest imaging technology, with the company using the occasion to recognise the photographers, filmmakers and enthusiasts who have supported LUMIX over the past quarter-century.
“Reaching 25 years is a huge milestone for LUMIX, but it’s also a moment to recognise the people who have made the journey what it is,” said Aaron Waters, Product Marketing Manager, Imaging, at Panasonic Australia.

Waters said the Sydney gathering would provide an opportunity for Panasonic to thank its customers while strengthening its relationship with Australia’s creative community.
“LUMIX Collective is our opportunity to say thank you, celebrate what we’ve achieved together and, just as importantly, spend time with the people who use and believe in our products every day.”
The Sydney event is part of a global series of anniversary celebrations, with similar gatherings scheduled for Manchester, Berlin, São Paulo, Milan, Paris and New York.
The celebrations highlight Panasonic’s continued commitment to the LUMIX brand and the photographers and filmmakers who use its imaging products.
For attendees, the event will provide an opportunity to experience LUMIX equipment firsthand, meet the Panasonic team and exchange ideas with other creatives.
Panasonic says capacity is limited and is encouraging interested attendees to secure tickets early. Tickets can be purchased via the Humanitix website.
