New unboxing videos showcasing what the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will look like, have been posted online by a reviewer who has managed to get their hands on the devices prior to launch.
The phones come neatly packaged with a USB-C cable, a manual, and a Quick Switch adapter. The Pixel 8 video shows the phone in a shiny grey colour, with a silver camera bar, whereas the Pixel 8 Pro video shows a matte black backing with a black camera bar.
It was also revealed both devices are equipped with the same in-display fingerprint scanner found on the predecessors. There have been many leaks regarding the devices lately, with some even coming from Google itself.
Rumours suggest The Pixel 8 Pro will have an upgraded camera array with a 50MP wide lens, a 48MP ultrawide lens with Macro Focus, a 48MP camera with a 5x telephoto lens, and a body temperature sensor.
The Pixel 8 is rumoured to have a dual-camera setup with a 50MP wide lens and a 12MP ultrawide lens with Macro Focus. Both are tipped to come with some AI-enhanced features.
Additionally, Google is set to also unveil the Pixel Watch 2 at the upcoming Made by Google event, taking place on October 4th at 10AM ET.
